Oswestry Ghost tours, Shropshire Discover the ghostly goings-on in Oswestry, with tours that include information about how the Ardmillan house got its tower, the history of the Greystones and the ghosts of the Bear Hotel and Star Inn. Also beware of the railway signalman and the Victorian beggar women. Each tour lasts about an hour and starts from the new Coach Park at 7.30pm and finishes at the central car park. Flames ten feet high lick the sky as sweating locals stagger beneath their weight. As one man tires, his brother, father or even grandfather steps in and takes over the burning load. And so it continues until well past midnight. he Original Ghost Walk of York, King's Arms pub, York The Ghost Walk established in 1973 was an original creation believed to be the first in the world. The walk is accurate, authentic and genuine, and a unique opportunity to discover the hidden magic of the ancient city of York. Tales are drawn from the immense History of York and are told against a backdrop of haunting beauty. The walk runs nightly from the King's Arms Pub (the famous pub that floods), Ouse Bridge at 8pm. Those who believe in such things claim that Nantucket is one of the most haunted places in the United States. Basically, it's a wonder you're not covered with ectoplasm after a day on the island. The Nantucket Ghost Walk, held regularly May through October, is one of the few tours that continues operating on the island in the winter months (private tours, by appointment). There are two walks per night during the regular season (May-October); at 7pm and 9:15pm. Bring a flashlight and some backbone.
	St. Petersburg, Florida	Ghost tours of Evesham SPIRITUAL healing, headless horsemen and ghosts in the bell tower are just some of the experiences Evesham's newest business can offer brave souls. Spiritus, located at 85 High Street, Evesham, was opened on Halloween amid the ghoulish goings on of one of the spookiest nights of the year, a fitting opening for the town's spookiest shop. Michael Smith along with fiancé Sue Treanor believe their shop, that sells tarot cards, crystals, pagan Christmas cards as well as providing readings, treatments for spiritual ailments and ghost tours around the town, is just what Evesham needed. Sue said: "It sounds silly, but our spirit guides told us we should do it. However we also thought Evesham could do with a shop like this, and we have been very busy since we opened on Halloween, or Witch's New Year, that contains a lot of good energy for new beginnings. "People are becoming spiritually aware, but they had no where to go. We're not just a shop, we're a spiritual centre where everyone is welcome" she added. As well as a shop Spiritus also have ghost walks around the town on Thursdays and Sundays, and Michael and Sue are considering holding séances and vigils in their haunted cellar.
