Broadstairs is a lovely seafaring little town located in the Isle of Thanet. It was once the home of Charles Dickens and is still home to may attractions tracing his life and his love of Kent. The town's influence in the lives of ordinary people grew out of the London Trains, which arrived in the 1850's. I have included some photos of the town to help you get some idea of what it has to offer. It was also here that the young future Queen of England Stayed with her mother. Find out more by visiting the Broadstairs' Visitor Information Centre, located in the Dickens House Museum on Victoria Parade, it is outside here where your host Miss Suzanne Artus will meet you and guide you along the darkened streets of Old Broadstairs. Through York Gate to the Harbour by the Pavilion on the sands, the old Cinema, the tartar Frigate, the Bleak House Museum, The coastguard Cottages, Archway house, and many other haunted locations
